We loved the peaceful location and friendly staff. Rooms were clean, food was delicious, and the continental breakfast was nice. The closed-off garden was perfect for our son.
Nothings.

This hotel was delightful. The food was interesting and enjoyable. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant.. The hotel was newly and tastefully decorated. The care and enthusiasm paid towards the running of the hotel was impressive.

We loved this small hotel. We had booked a 'family room' which turned out to be 2 rooms with a connecting corridor and 'front door' - more like a small apartment, so brilliant when travelling with an older teenager. The decor was modern within a traditional setting. Although the restaurant and reception are closed on Mondays, the staff had left very clear instructions on how to gain access to the building. The breakfast was simple but of a very good standard. We would highly recommend this hotel to other travellers. It is off the beaten track, but its individuality and comfort make it well worth the 30 mile detour from the nearest autoroute. In our opinion, it was far superior to any large 3* 'chain' hotel.

The location of this hotel was absolutely fantastic. Situated in a peaceful area, it provided a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. the staff were extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. the continental breakfast served each morning was delicious, and we really enjoyed starting our day off with a satisfying meal. the rooms were clean and comfortable, providing us with a much-needed rest after a long day of exploring.
The lack of dining facilities was a major disappointment. We were looking forward to enjoying a nice dinner at the hotel's restaurant, but unfortunately, it was closed due to unforeseen circumstances.

The little village was very peaceful. The hotel was unpretentious but so comfortable and welcoming. The staff were charming and helpful, suggested places to visit which turned out to be excellent. Great value for money, fine little restaurant. We slept very well. The family suite was perfect.
We were glad to be "off the beaten track", but it was quite a drive to George Sand's home which we had come to visit.

Fantastic little hotel, tucked away in a very quiet village. We did not get chance to sample the menu but it looked superb and from talking to others is excellent.Breakfasts were delightful and the staff could not have been more welcoming. In an area where there are not many hotels this is a brilliant find.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with beautiful closed-off gardens, ideal for my young son's playtime. The rooms were very clean, and the food served there was delicious. the staff provided an extra heater for my son's morning milk, which was a thoughtful gesture.
Breakfast service could start a little earlier. Being an early bird with a young kid, 8.30 was a bit late.

This is an beautiful, recently refurbished hotel, a real taste of rural France. When you book on the internet you always take a chance but we were really pleased with our stay. We got 2 lovely rooms to accomodate our family ( 3 kids) . We ate in the restaurant (no other option in this small town) and the food was very good. Although the kids menu was limited they went out of thier way to find something for my somewhat fussy 13 year old. Even had free wifi in the reception.Overall I could not recommend it highly enough.

An excellent experience from start to finish. The staff were a pleasure to meet, being efficient, friendly and English speaking, Although our room was small it was beautifully presented. The hotel had a lovely terrace to relax on, with car parking across the road. The restaurant had a stunning menu, which was sampled every evening. One not to miss.
On the down side the hotel was located in a village with nowhere else to eat, but with the standard of food at the hotel you would not want to eat anywhere else at all.

We had a lovely Easter stay at a cozy countryside hotel. the rooms were spotless and comfortable. the best aspects were the delicious food and the peaceful enclosed garden that allowed our young child to play safely. the location was great for exploring the nearby nature trails and beautiful surroundings.
Breakfast didn't start until 8:30 am which was a bit late for us with a young child who likes to wake up early. It would have been nice to have a bit more flexibility in breakfast times.

Good food if some what expensive. Very quiet except for the church bell ringing twice every hour from 0700 - 2100 hours.
Room was very small with no tea/coffee making facilities, bed uncomfortable, but bedroom and shower room both clean. Unfortunately there were no internal seating areas to relax when the weather was inclement.
